Should I delay for a few days???

Ds is ebf and 6 months tomorrow (today!!!) so we we're planning on starting him with blw tomorrow dinner time.

Except dd (3) was very sick at dinner today and seems to have the symptoms of Norovirus. Dh has been ill for a few days (although not sick) and while writing this I feel a bit off colour. Ds has also been quite sicky today but just about within his normal range.

Would we be better to delay for a few days until we are no longer the House Of Germ or is that pointless? From what I remember with dd no food will actually go down for a few weeks anyway.

i think the point of blw is them just joining in family meals, if family are ill and not eating there won't be any blw? i wouldn't rush, wait until everyone well. bf is very good for looking after poorly babies!

Thanks for the advice everyone.

By dinner time everyone had perked up enough to want to eat so we gave ds a little bit of veg. He looked very pleased with himself, pulled some funny faces as he tried it and it then fell out of his mouth and fell on the floor.

All in all pretty successful I'd say!
