Is my 5 1/2 mo eating too much baby food?!

DS is 5 months and 3 weeks. He's a big baby (93rd centile) and was fussing loads, sleeping badly, so it felt right to wean him at just under 5 months. He's up to 3 bowls of fruit or veg purée a day, around 90/100ml per meal. He could eat so much more, I don't think he would stop! BF feeds have cut down from around 10 to 4 a day, one at around 6am, 11am, 4pm and 6.30/7pm (meals at 9am, 1pm, 5pm) which means I'm far less tired and more with it, but now I'm worried he's not getting enough milk! Should I be worried? I just feel like he's not taking much milk anymore, he's just not that interested except for the 6am feed but then he often gets too sleepy. Could I be feeding him too much baby food? I don't want him to miss out on BM nutrients for the sake of a bowl of mushed veg. Maybe he's just taking what he needs more quickly? When I was solely BF he had mastered the art of the 10min feed but I would FEEL him take it, and not so much now. He's more interested in looking around or 'chatting'. Should I cut his food back so he focuses more on BF or is that madness?!

I would offer him a breastfeed no more than an hour before his solids so he had filled up on milk first. Milk is more important than solids. Perhaps go back to 2 meals a day, most babies aren't on 3 till 7 or 8 months. Being distracted during feeds is normal for his age, perhaps try to find a nice quiet space whenever you can.
