We are very much out of things at the moment and have to wait until Friday to do our big shop.
Stage 2 of the AK weaning book demands lots of ingredients that I don't have at the moment and i only have the basics frozen; cubes of sweet potato, carrot, green beans and some fruit.
DS has been having mixtures of these since the weekend twice a day.
What else can i give him? I really need some ideas. He's had toast and banana for brekkie, other than that i have some frozen sweetcorn (can i puree this, maybe add it to the frozen sweet potato, carrot?) have run out of sheep's yoghurt, have no fresh veg either.
Help!

Have you got any cheese?

Pasta with a cheese sauce
Cheese on toast, cut into strips

How old is he?

Hi YF,

He is 7months and one week old.

He doesn't eat cheese. Have just posted below on this, no dairy produce yet due to DH's allergies and intolerance.

Ah right.
Ok

You could try and puree the sweetcorn, bit of a pita but it does work. Maybe mix with you sweet pot. I would just do combos of the purees you have tbh.
You've only got to wait till friday.

Have you got any cereals like weetabix or ready brek, which would mush up well? Lentils with your sweet potato? Any chicken in the freezer perhaps? Tinned tuna (but only if in spring water, NOT brine)? Could make hummus if you have chick peas. Dried fruits such as apricots could be soaked, then cooked.
