10mo given up food

He got three teeth in the last week and spent much of it on calpol but has been ok last two days. He'll have occasional bite of a rice cake or a grape but he'd given up on proper food. Normal?

Strangely i have two friends one with a 9 month and one with a ten month and they both have given up on food! One of my friends has taken her little boy Dr and he said due to teething and to try cold foods as it will appeal to them more and its cold on their teeth. X

Actually he's just eating some nectarine and satsuma now. It's just savoury food he won't have. Unless it's covered in strawberry yoghurt. Good to know it's normal.

Yes completely normal but try him with ibruprofen rather than calpol, its much better for dental pain. Are you using a teething gel like dentinox too?

You could also try him with a frozen banana, homemade ice lollies and big chunks of cool cucumber to gnaw on
