As titled- how do you know? I've tried googling but I'm confused still. I know I'm a muppet Blush

They won't push things out with there tongue I guess?

It's as simple as pink pepper says, one day they start to swallow stuff instead of everything being spat out.

How old is your baby? I only weaned at 6 months and he hardly ever spat anything out.

Yeah I admit I don't think I noticed my sons going because we waited till 6 months to wean, he didn't spit anything out (till he learnt to blow raspberries)

LO is nearly 5 months. I ask because when I give her teething powder, she laps it up like a kitten; using her tongue to move it back and the making chomping actions. Does this mean she's lost the tongue thrust?
