Timing timing!

DD is up and down with eating her food. I know that babies are not consistent. But I keep on thinking my timings are wrong and she is to hungry and just wants milk or not hungry enough!

Out of interest when do you feed your DC? An hour before the meal? Half hour?

DD is 8 months next week and EBF?

At 8 months I would be offering breakfast, lunch and tea then topping up after the meal with milk.

I would bf about 1 hr before doing solids. There is some useful advice on the Kellymom website about solids and bfeeding.

At 8 months you should be offering solids about twice a day. Between 8 and 9 months you can move onto 3 times.

The link ex posted has some useful information Smile

I feed a little before normally. So she is in a good mood. And not when she is tired.

DD is 9 months we do milk (FF) then 45-60 mins later solids. Sometimes its longer if she has her nap in between milk/solids or if we're out and about. Sometimes we miss a solid meal altogether. She still has 4 bottles a day.
