Early Weaning Recipe Ideas

I weaned my DD (now 5 months), early, and as a result she's fairly confident with food now, she doesn't really manage finger foods as such, but I do give her chunks of veggies every now and again.
Anyway, I'm beginning to wonder what else I can give her, she has had a variety of fruits and veggie purees, although I'd love to hear some more unusual suggestions.

I'd like to give her asparagus and courgette sometime this week!

So, really I'd like to know of any tried and tested recipes you all might have, I can bulk-cook/freeze, I have a hand blender, and I don't really want to use meat just yet...

TIA xxx

I've tried melon, mango, avocado, banana, papaya, all raw and the following cooked - carrot, butternut squash, parsnip, swede, peas, potato, broccoli, broad beans, sweet potato, courgette, apple, pear, cherries, initially singly but later as combinations or sometimes with baby rice. Most were successful except potato, also not overkeen on broad beans or swede.
My baby is 6.5 months and i've now introduced chicken, wheat and dairy. Did a blend of chicken, pasta, cream cheese and broccoli last night before I added the sauce and herbs to our own meal.

I borrowed the Karmel weaning book from the library earlier, going to try carrot and suede in a few days.. Have just pureed our leftovers as we had a huge vegetable hot-pot for tea!
Thanks for posting

Wow Lilstarry - carrot and suede! You are adventurous

She eats it.. I figure I'll introduce as many flavours as she'll accept, she's had beetroot and broccoli, both of which are supposedly 'strong' flavours. Heheh, she's such a tiggy!
