how often should i change 7 month babys drinking water in her beaker?

she's not really got the hang of it yet, do you need to change the water regularly (like formula should be discarded after 2 hours of contact with baby's mouth)??

thanks Smile

It's not like formula. Formula is very sweet and perfect for bacteria to multiply. Having said that, if you've ever given water with a meal then you'll know how much backwash goes into those tommee tippee beakers, so I wouldn't leave the same one hanging around all day.

Water's free so it's not really a big deal to change it regularly is it?

personally i think it tastes plasticy, so i fill and offer immediately and repeat throughout the day - but as a still breastfeed she will be getting probably enough to quench her thirst (BF on demand) so i only really give the water with meals in the high chair.

it's not a big deal, just wondered if it was necessary, she's not had any yet so wasn't sure how often to offer fresh water.
