What shall I do with all this leftover purée?

I was advised to wean early by GP because of ds's (mild) reflux. He's 22 weeks. So, I made a huge batch load of purées- carrot, squash, sweet potato, broccoli, beetroot and peach. He's been having a couple of tea spoons a day- not made a blind bit of difference to his reflux, but he seems to be enjoying it.

He's got fine head control and can sit unaided in his highchair (but not just on the floor) so I tried him with a chunk of plum earlier and he went nuts! It was very squishy, but he managed to being it to his mouth and eat quite a bit- his face was hilarious!

Anyway, as he's not 6 months yet I'll stick to fruity / veg etc, but I'm going to try more of a blw approach. I guess I can mix the peach in with porridge etc, but what shall I do with all of the leftover veg purée? There's loads of it!

Could you freeze it? Ice cube trays are good for this, as you can defrost a portion at a time.

Freeze it!

Ice cube trays and then frozen pop out of the trys into bags and lable!

You may find it comes in handy yet!

If the veggie ones are frozen I would just chuck some in the next next few stews/soups/bolognese sauce you make.

Thanks- they are all frozen in ice cube tray portions- there's just so much (I seriously went overboard!) Soups is a good idea- thanks!
