Moving onto cows milk.

My twins will be one on Sunday

Shall I start weaning them onto cows milk from now, a few ounces at a time? Or should I wait until Sunday? It is going to be so strange not making up bottles anymore. DP and I have made over 3000 bottles in 12 months!

Wow 3000 bottles. Think they are near enough to start having 1floz of cows milk in their bottles for a few days, then move to 3. By Sunday I'd be aiming to have half and half.

Were they full term? If so, they only need 300ml of full fat cows milk a day from 1 and that can include milk on cereal and in cooking too.

Thanks JJJ.

They were born at 34 weeks & weigh 20lb3 & 20lb4 so a good weight. I will start with 1oz of cows milk from tonight then.
