Giving blw a go with Ds 2, he is nearly 6 months. Doing just a few bit of veg a day. He seems to be having incredible digestive problems as a result at night, waking up randomly when he didn't previously, when picked up produces massive burps, hiccups cause lots of crying etc. Am wondering if mashed food might be better for his tummy?

Don't think how the food gets into him is the issue here. Once the food is in his stomach surely its just the same food? Smile

Think it is probably more to do with the maturity of his bowels. I'd leave it a couple of weeks and try again. If you do want to continue with the solids, I'd just offer it once a day and preferably in the morning, in the hope that he's trumped it all out by night Smile

Thanks yes I think you could be right about waiting a bit longer. Poor little man is distraught :(

Thanks for asking. A bit so so, this food business seem to have made sleep worse not better!

Slush made my 2s sleep much worse too. I really would give it a break for a little while Smile
