Another stupid question from me...

Ok so weaning starts at 6mths, dd born on 4th April, is it counted as a month when it's the 4th of every month or is it counted in weeks as in 24wks?

6 months is 26 weeks (4.5 weeks in a month on average, or half a year so half of 52).

Beyond that I went with date as that came after 26 weeks but I was probably over thinking it

I went for the day of the month. Yes, it probably is overthinking it, but hell, it's a milestone, why not celebrate it.

I'd have appreciated knowing about New Food Face though - when DS sucked on his lovingly steamed broccoli floret & made that grimace of disgust I was a bit deflated. It took me a while to realise he made it for everything.
