Reducing milk feeds

Not sure if this is the right place but could really do with some advice!

DD is 11m and we are doing baby-led weaning. She is eating really really well. However, she is showing no signs of dropping her milk feeds: 2 bottles during the day, and bf in the morning, evening and night.

I read everywhere that bottles particularly should be avoided after 12m, but I have no idea how to start reducing her milk feeds. Do I simply stop offering e.g. the mid-morning bottle and see how it goes?

Not helped by the fact that she's starting nursery and really needs all the comfort she can get. Would I be doing a lot of damage (to teeth particularly) by continuing the bottles post 12m?

you could try offering a snack and drink of water in place of a milk feed and see how you get on.
