Hi. My 10mo DS has never liked milk but he started refusing bottles at about 4 months when we were advised to wean. He still had breast milk about twice a day till he reduced that to once a day at 7mo. By 8mo he was refusing boob too.
I used to blend fromula into his purees but now he eats more solid food he doesn't have much in that. He has 180ml on his weetabix in the morning and about 120ml of full fat greek yogurt thru the day. I make a cream cheese pasta sauce which he has a few times a week but at the moment that seems to be it for his dairy intake.
In a day he usually consumes:
2 weetabix
180ml formula
1-2 rusks
fish pie with a little cows milk blended/pasta with cheese sauce
60ml greek yogurt with blueberries/strawberries
half banana
fruit chunks like peach or cherries
half a slice of toast with butter and peanut butter
beef and sweet potato stew/lentils and rice
60ml greek yogurt with blueberries/strawberries
snacks like baby biscuits and about 60-120ml water.
But now he's refusing the yogurt too :( So i am getting really worried he isn't getting enough dairy. When i last spoke to the HV she said don't worry, he's putting on weight and is very active so he must be fine. But i just don't think it's enough.
Am i being pfb or should his diet have anything else in it that i am missing?
