What do you feed your 7-8month old?

My lo is on 3 meals a day and has just dropped her afternoon bottle.
At the moment her routine is:
8am bottle
9am cereal
11am bottle (not all of it now)
1pm lunch - jar of stage 1
3pm bottle (half of it)
5pm - jar of stage 1 and yoghurt
7.30-8 - bottle
is this enough? Should I feed her more at lunch time?
Also, she doesn't like lumps! Have tried so many things and so many times but all she does is gag and takes FOREVER eating- 1 hour, and doesn't finish it all.
AND doesn't drink any water! Tried 4 diff beakers, non spill pout, doidy cup, straws!!!
Any suggestions? At my wits end!!
Thanks

I'd say she's eating ok. The lumps thing and water would bother me more tbh. She needs liquid so fruits such as watermelon, normal melon etc. can help.

As for gagging, all babies gag, it's a natural reflex and its one they need to experience and learn to control to a certain extent. The key is to not panic when they gag. There's a huge difference between gagging and choking. I don't approach DS (7 1/2 months) unless he's gagged 3 times. I know it's easier said than done but it really helps.

Also maybe give finger food as well as her jars so it doesn't matter if she doesn't eat much of it.

Ds2 gets bf in the am on waking
7.30 am toast with humus/mashed banana and porridge
9am bf
11am bf
12 noon pasta pesto with veg/bread with veg sticks and cheese/scrambled egg on toast
1pm bf
3pm bf
4.30 1/2 a stage1 pouch mixed with mashed parsnip or potato or carrot, with a stick of sweet potato or finger of bread to keep him occupied, then yoghurt with mashed banana or apple or pear purree.
7pm bf

DS doesn't drink water either but he BFs so much I try not to worry.

I hope this helps a bit.

What kind of cereal do you give? DS hated lumps and I started by adding some cheerios to his weetabix. It meant although it was lumpier the lumps were soft having absorbed some milk. From there on I just began making his purees a little more lumpy and progressing from there.

I just feed my daughter some of what I am eating. For example:

Breakfast: weetabix and a piece of toast
Lunch: Soup and a piece of fruit
Dinner: Chicken korma, rice, naan bread

I dont use any special recipes, I just dont add salt when cooking and tone the spices down.
