Help!

Health visitor today has suggested 9 month old DD is not fat enough. Now I'm not worried at all about DDs growth or development, health visitor is a pain in the bum. But she did get me thinking maybe I don't give her enough fat!

She gets cheese and yoghurts daily but I think that's all the fat. What else can I give her?

I was told the same thing about my DD at her 9 month check. Went home and made her a big bowl of mash potato with lots of butter and full fat cream cheese! Over the last few weeks I've had success with proper custard, made with half milk, half cream and rice pudding. It's difficult to feed her up though because she's moving so much :)

Brilliant. Thanks everyone Smile

Will get shopping tomorrow! She is so wriggly I'm pretty sure that's why she doesn't put on as much weight but I'm grateful for suggestions on foods to help!

Has she recently started crawling? What milk is she on and how much?

put proper butter in her food, and full fat milk in her mashed potatoes and breakfast cereals. From 1 year old, give her full fat milk to drink too.
