How much salt is too much?

So I obviously don't add salt to the things I make for my 10mo twins but I give them toast made from shop bought sliced bread. This has 0,55g sodium per 100g but I have no idea if this is too much.

Is there a guideline of the maximum amount of salt a food should contain?

Tia
