Jarred sauces etc

Is it ok to give these to my 7mo? Not everyday, but I do regularly use shortcuts such as Lloyd grossman pasta sauces etc for dp and I.
Is it ok to keep a portion and mash for ds, or would it be too high in salt? I'm back at work full time, so it's unlikely I'll get around to cooking everything from scratch!!

I wouldn't use them - the LLoyd Grosman ones seem particularly high in salt. They also have added sugar.

You can buy passata in cartons, which is just plain tomato, and then add herbs, garlic etc and that wouldn't have any added salt or sugar and be nearly as quick.

I use plain tomatoes veg & a little basil & garlic, loads cheaper.

I would be a bit nervous of adult pasta sauces under 1 just because of salt..

If your pushed for time tescos sell ready made ones from Peter rabbit organics with no nasties in..
