hiya!

we are planning to go abroad in next weeks and not sure what food to take with us or just get daughter food abroad.

she is 9 months and been on solids since 16 weeks as she has severe reflux.
she has a brilliant appetite and eats anything and everything as long as its cooked and not from jar.

i started giving her jars and reflux was horrendous, turns out she is allergic to something in them, so she cant have them anymore.

this is where my question comes in. she eats everything apart from jars and is currently refusing formula point blank! not sure what i would give her??

any clues i would be so greatful!

I would eat the stuff you can get out there. Lots of fruit, veg, bread. You could take breadsticks/ rice cakes/ crackers and snack-type things. Drink bottled water. Not sure if cow milk from supermarket would be ok, they do say from 1 yr. If she only wants water then you can give yoghurts. Take some spoons and bowls!

Erm.. Just give her whatever you have? Unless you going somewhere really remote/ unhygienic.

We have travelled extensively from tiny babies and have always found something.

Most places will give something off menu also if needed. Ie go to an ice cream parlour, you can get just some bananas and strawberries. A side of steamed veg/ omlette/ bread basket etc if you want.

Where are you going?

Bread, fish, scrambled eggs, cucumber, fruit, vegetables, yoghurt, cheese.

Where are you going? What accommodation are you staying in?

We have always found the Spanish very accommodating, sometimes even offering things suitable but not on the menu, such as an omelette.

We're just back from Eurodisney - DD also 9mo. I took some porridge (ella's) to make up with hot milk and a few (enough for 1 a day) pouches / tubs (Ella's and Plumb as not keen on jars personally) but tbh she ate what we had.

Toast, bread rolls, pastries, scrambled egg, sausage, chips, steak, pasta, pate, duck, ice lolly(!) were all hits.

When we went on holiday DS had his usual for breakfast some sandwiches at lunch we made ourselves then something off of everyones plate at dinner and if this was unsuitable I always had a food pouch with me just in case or he could get a bowl of custard.
