Can I give my 8 month old bits of what everyone else is eating if its got salt in it for her meals?
Or should I really do separate meals for her?

I'm not talking about particularly salty foods but I made a chicken casserole today with normal amount of stock/salt in in.

Both mine had what we were eating at that age. We used low salt stock cubes and added our salt at the table or after they had been served Smile

At that age I would cook without salt, then add some at the table if needed. At about two y.o. I relaxed a bit about it.

Agree with others and low salt stock. Am trying to get a taste myself and not add it at the table but done leans need it!

I also agree with people above. I'd use low salt stock (Kallo do one) then dish up DD's portion then add seasoning and serve ours. Same for bolognaise sauce etc.
