Lots of people seem to give this as finger food, is it less salty than say, cheddar?

Yes, BabyBel are a bit less salty than cheddar. Young mild cheeses like emmental have less salt content than harder more mature cheeses.

Didnt know that either ex Smile.

We always assumed that DS didn't like cheese, he always gave the babybels back. Then when he was about 2.5 DH had got doe Parmesan and DS asked for some. Ever since he has been a total cheese nut Smile

Would you believe, JJJ, that I spent a good long while looking up the salt content of cheeses on the Sainsburys website before I started weaning...

Talk about PFB syndrome!

JiltedJohnsJulie · 17/06/2013 21:34

Ha ha. I was --and probably still am- sooo PFB over DS. I'm so not over dd, poor love.
