Storing homemade pesto

I'm going to make the pesto from the BLW recipe book later and wondered how long it is likely to keep in the fridge? Also, is it okay to freeze pesto? Thanks!

I've frozen pesto before, was fine (for grown ups, not fed it to babies I don't think but sure it would be fine.)

don't know what's in the BLW pesto but you shouldn't freeze adult pesto with parmesan - makes it taste foul. Add the parmesan once you've defrosted.

Not sure how long max (ours is eaten super quick) but we pour a layer of olive oil on top of the pesto in a jar and it's lasted a week or so
