fruit for baby?

Hello,
My baby is nearly 8 months old and I've only just read I'm supposed to be cooking fruit she eats? I did before cook everything except bananas as I wanted to puree it, but over the last month or so she's had uncooked pears, apple, apricots, raspberries etc. Never with bad effect
Have I done something terribly wrong?

No, you haven't! Don't know where you read about cooking fruit - I've never come across that advice before. My ds has had pear, banana, nectarine and so on all raw since 6 months. As long as it was ripe enough to be squishy it was fine. He's nearly 1 now and has absolutely zero health issues :-)

Definitely never heard that one before! Uncooked fruit is absolutely fine.
