Me again.... Trying to get my head a round this weaning malarkey.... When should I stop dream feeding? Ds is bf and on 3 good meals a day. Foodwise His day looks a bit like this:

5am bf
7.30 breakfast
10.30 bf
1pm lunch
3pm bf
5.30 dinner
7 pm bf and bed
11pm wakes for milk or dreamfeed.

He's 7 1/2 mo and a over 20lbs - so a big lad! Should I try and drop the dream feed? Is he having too much?

Just drop it. If he wakes to be fed sometimes anyway, take your cue from him. I've never been convinced by waking a baby up in the first place, but certainly doesn't sound as though your ds is at risk of under-nourishment.

Agree. The whole dream feed business has little evidence behind it anyway.

Tried it last night and he slept till 3 and went straight back off. 12 hour night! Whoop!!!
