Hello! I'd like a book that isn't just about recipes, but talks about techniques and so on as well. Any recommendation? Thanks!

The Baby-Led Weaning Cookbook by Gill Rapley was my Bible. It has lots of recipes obviously, but also explains what BLW is and why it's beneficial.

Weaning made easy by Rana Conway. It looks at both BLW and using purees, and has a chapter discussing when to wean. It seems unbiased to me, just plenty of information and summaries of research for you to decide what you want to do. It also includes some meal planners and recipes for both approaches, and a mixture of the two. I've found it really helpful- dd2 starts solids tomorrow!

"Yummy discoveries: the baby led weaning recipe book" is really good. Only bought it last week as I was struggling for ideas and my DH and DS have demolished anything I've cooked from it so far. Recipes are fairly quick and straightforward with adult add on options. It has a section at the beginning explaining BLW.
