Lunches for a 7mo

DS is loving his food - started BLW at 6mo he took to it brilliantly :)

I'm back to work on Monday and he'll be going to a childminder. Problem is the CM is a bit anti BLW so I'm not sure what to pack him for his lunch?

I'm very very happy with her looking after him as she is highly recommend and as a bonus she lives very close to my work. Just need to find a middle ground with the feeding - I'm fine with the mess/scary chocking momets that come with BLW but its not her thing. We've compromised they he will have some finger foods each day.

Any lunch suggestions?

Confused you have to send food in with him?!

Anyways.... omelette fingers...pitta bread strips....strips of chicken breast....brocoli steamed.....cucumber sticks.....orange segments.....rice cakes.

Tbh if you want to.BLW cant you just only send finger foods?

Is this not the norm to send the food?! I didn't even question it as a friend and SIL both do the same for their LO's.

Hi glad you've found a childminder you're happy with.

My blw 9mo enjoys the following at lunch time...

Omelette chopped up
Savoury muffins...carrot, or cheese
Cucumber fingers, sliced avocado
Cheese cut into chunks, or babybel
Toast fingers smeared in hummus, or cheese
Left overs from the night before, eg spag Bol or roasted veggies

Yogurt or fruit for pudding

Maybe its me presuming they are all the same as mine

The cms around here all seem to provide meals but ive seen it mentioned on Mn before that some people have to take them.
