Hi all

My DD has just turned 8 months, i've been using formula to make porridge and put on cereal but was wondering if i should be using cows milk?

Thanks!

I just used cows milk, and also when making things with milk in like mashed potato, fish pie etc.I used follow on formula as a drink up to age 1 and then switched to cows milk(full fat).

There is no need to use formula or ebm in cooking or with cereals from 6 months. Full fat cows is fine plus it means that you can share food and it will save you money Smile

There's also not really a need for follow on milk at all. The NHS only recommend first stage formula until one year.
