9 m/o still not interested in food

The health visitor has said not to worry until 12months, but everyone else I know seems to be giving 2 or 3 meals and snacks by now. She will play with food, but dribbles and spits any that gets in her mouth, and will push away any food after an initial play. She breastfeeds every 2 hours or so.

Has anyone else's DC been like this? And when did they start to eat a bit?

I wouldnt worry. she will become interested in her own time. make sure she has opportunity to eat if she wants to

Hello

My DD didn't start eating properly until she was 1 - it was almost overnight! She never even ate 1 'meal' at 9 months let alone 3!

All my friends babies were on 3 meals too and I was always worrying, but your HV is right.

My DD is 14 months now and she eats like a horse!
