Aldi fromage frais with fruit puree - OK?

Hi,

Just bought some and now not sure if OK to give to 6 mo old DD.

Says OK from first weaning etc but I guess they would say that.

Has 7.9g of sugar per 60g pot but doesn't really say whether it's fruit sugars (though guessing it is because of fruit puree??)

I think she would like it but I don't want to do damage to her massively cute 2 front teeth! And her other ones when they arrive of course.

Read the ingredients label. Is there any added sucrose sugar? If not, then it is fruit sugar. Neither will harm her, just brush her teeth!

Or try plain fromage frais?

it will be fine - even if there is a wee bit of added sugar its not going to hurt as long as you are brushing her teeth each day.

Thanks, not started with the teeth brushing yet as only been giving her food for about 3 weeks, guess I should start! Have one of those finger toothbrushes - will try it out :)
