Left over rice for 6 and a half month old

I made a mild curry and ride last night, and have set a small portion aside for ds.

I have in the back of my mind though, that its not safe to reheat rice? It went straight into the fridge after cooling down.

Am I OK to give it to ds cold, or should I just get rid of it? TIA.

I'd get rid of it. There is a certain bacteria, Bacillus cereus, which grows in cold rice. Great way to get food poisoning if immunosuppressed, elderly, etc

I'd thoroughly boil it again and turn it into a soup with blended pumpkin or carrot or just boiled and thinned with water.

Or get rid!

Thought that would be the case. The rice and curry is in the same pot, so ds will have to wait for his first taste of curry. I'm kicking myself, tbh, I'm normally more on the ball!

as long as it was put in the fridge fairly soon after cooking then it will be fine. It is storage at room temperature that is the issue.
