Buttermilk and 6 amd half month old ds

I'm making a pasta sauce for dinner tonight, made with buttermilk. I'm planning on leaving a small portion to mash up for ds's dinner tomorrow, but are babies allowed buttermilk? I'm assuming its OK, but just want to check

why wouldnt they be allowed it? I am sure it will be fine

All full fat cows milk is fine in cooking and with cereal past 6 months. Hope Lo enjoyed it.

As luck would have it, he got a tummy bug the next day, so he didn't get to have any in the end

That's a shame. Hope he's feeling better. He was the pasta sauce, was it worth the worry?
