My little one is the same age and size! Ready Brek and mashed banana goes down very well, and I'd second mango. He also loves feeding himself little cubes of babybel - I just leave them on his tray. Half of them don't actually make it to his mouth, but he has fun trying. Just found some little rice cakes which are also proving popular. Also steamed broccoli florets - he eats these by the fistful.

does she have any fingerfoods yet?

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 11/05/2006 08:26

havent tried her on finger foods yet, she still isnt sitting up or anything, and tends to slouch a bit.

Will possibly start trying finger foods then!

Finger foods - toast was a huge hit with my DS (9 months). As is baby sweetcorn and raisins.

Butternut squash with pear was very popular with DD
