13 month old vomiting after cows milk from sippy cup

My DD2 is 13 months old. She's always just been breastfed. Never taken a bottle. She drinks water/squash through a straw but has never really taken to her sippy cup.

But for the past week or so she has started taking about 50ml cows milk out of her sippy cup twice a day.

The problem is that more often than not she's sick after it.

She's never been a sicky baby. She has milk in food without issue so I'm assuming it's not an allergy/intolerance.

I'm wondering if maybe she's gulping it too quickly and that's what's causing it.

Has anybody experienced similar or have ideas of how I can get her to take cows milk without vomiting

Not really, but thought you could use a bump!

We use valved cups mostly because it stops DS spraying liquid everywhere. It slows down the rate he can drink so you could always try one of those. It might prove if its the cup or not.

Is she sick after anything else she drinks from a sippy cup?

Thanks golemmings
She doesn't really drink much out of her cup other than milk. With water she sucks it out of the cup then spits if our, I don't think she drinks it - more rinses her mouth with it.

I will try and buy a valved cup today and see how I go.
