Stock cubes

How much salt is too much in a stock cube? I make soup and stew with Kallo organic stock cubes. There are no Kallo low salt cubes on sale in any of the local supermarkets.

Each cube is 0.3g of sodium. Equivalent as salt is 0.8g. Is this too much to cook with when feeding a 6 month old baby?

Babies should have less than a gram of salt a day. So it all depends how many cubes you're using and how many portions each will make! Can you order the low salt ones online? Marigold also do a low salt powder. Or just use water with some pepper and herbs and a bit of carrot.

check the baby food aisles as some of them do baby stock cubes - Boots certainly sell them.

The heinz baby stock cubes are in the baby food aisle in my local asda. Not as good as ordinary cubes but they do serve a useful purpose if you want to make a meal you can all eat.
