Has anyone used one of those feeding bags?

I picked one up in morrisons as only £1 today. You are supposed to fill it with food, so baby can suck on it and not choke.

Any good? I'm not sure what to do with it really!?

Yes I have one of these for my dd. IMO they are good as dd can try all the different types of fruit and veg see what she likes and I can buy more for her to try as finger food.

Only problem is they get very clogged up so you will need to wash it as soon as little one has finished with it.

I tried it today, but he didn't want to put it in his mouth... maybe it was too full?

Possibly. My dd won't use it if the item inside is too big. Also took her a few tries before she realised there was a teat inside x

What are the point of them? How do they learn to bite/chew?

What?? Erm just give them a big chip sized piece of food - if they can pick it up, chew it and swallow it they won't choke as they are ready and able for weaning. X

Do you mean those net things or those make your own Ellas pouch type things?
I use the nets to put an ice cube in for teething, other than that I think they would be manky.
I was considering getting the latter to make my own squeezy yogurts for DS's.

Its the one you put food in. It was an impulse buy, but I can't really see the point. I tried it out, dont like the feel of it at all. DS doesnt seem too keen either.

I use the MUnchkin nets and they are great for slippy fruit or fruit with pips. Brilliant for frozen fruit to help sooth gums and useful when out and about. The nets have a round handle on which my baby likes to chew as well as what ever is inside. She loves having fruit to hold normally but slices of mango etc more often than not end up on the floor so these prolong the fruit in hand time. You so have to give them a good wash by hand after to remove any fruit residue and then I pop them in the dishwasher. I think they are great.
