How to fit in a 3rd meal?

My DTs are 7.5 months and we've been having food since 6 months. DTD refuses to eat from a spoon and isn't very interested so I'm offering her a range of finger foods and gradually bits are starting to go in.

I think perhaps because she's a bit slower I haven't really gone very fast with DTS either (he's having purees and finger food) but now feel that we're a bit stuck and I should try to add a third meal. The thing is I'm not quite sure how best to add a third meal and still leave the house (!) and also not upset DTS evening bottle which may or may not be the reason he sleeps through.

At the moment we feed/sleep roughly on these timings -
7.00am bf (second twin usually starts 15 mins later)
8.15am breakfast
9.15am-10am nap
10.00am bf (again second twin is 15 mins behind)
11.30am lunch
12.15pm nap. DTD usually only until 1.15pm/1.30pm, DTS sometimes goes a bit longer.
1.30pm to 2.00pm bf
4.00pm to 4.45pm bf (timing depends on lunchtime nap/where we end up going during the afternoon/if they fall alseep in the buggy)
6.30pm baths, bf for DTD and bottle for DTS (5oz before bath and usually 2-3oz after bath).

DTD is bf on demand at night, usually twice at around 11.00pm and 4.00am but sometimes it's just the once and/or she'll not want much at 7.00am. However DTS sleeps through and I guess I'm anxious not to upset this!

What would you do? I would like to give up bfing so am keen to get DTS at least on enough food to start thinking about dropping milk feeds. Any suggestions appreciated!

Thank you.

You could take a snack out with you in the afternoon?

Could you do a 3rd meal around the 4pm bf? My youngest is nearly 1 and he's had his 'evening' meal between 4.30 and 5pm for the last few months. Maybe, since they've had a 2pm bf, at 4 offer solid food and then a bf afterwards moving towards dropping that bf as and when.

We all eat around 5.30/6pm as a family. Where is it that you are sturggling to fit it in? In the afternoon if you gradually start offering a snack around 3.30 then have dinner at 5.30 you might find you drop one of the afternoon feeds. The rest will drop naturally over the next few months.

or rather will drop naturally/you will get to the point that they feed if available but are not bothered if you are not there anyway! My 1 year old can feed for england if I'm here but is happy to be left and just have food and water.

I would just give at 5/5.30. So try and get last nap latest at 4.30 so they can fit 30 min nap in before food make bf at 3.30/4 and also introduce a snack here maybe. So bf then offer half banana each.
