Hummus and weaning

Hi,
I see a lot of people here saying that they offer hummus to their babies. I gave Dd a try and she loved it....but only then did I think about the salt!!! And there is plenty of it in a tub of hummus...
Is there a special kind of unsalted brand I don't know about or are people just giving babies the "normal" kind?

If it's occasional and not a whole tub I wouldn't worry about it TBH.

DS loves hummus, he used to have awful garlicky nappies afterwards though Grin

It's really easy to make your own - just some tinned chickpeas, lemon juice, a bit of garlic (not too much as it can make it bitter) and some tahini or peanut butter (the unsalted kind) - whizz it all up in a blender and hey presto you have salt free houmous!
