starting to drink cows milk

ds will be changing from formula to milk soon

what do i do when were out for the day? We would normally use a carton of formula but with milk its obviously not in the fridge if were out for a day

please help

I don't give my 14 mo DTs anything other than tap water during the day. They have cows milk on waking and before bedtime (and teeth cleaned afterwards of course) but they don't seem to want/need milk during the day. Or the odd babycino

do you know how much they should be drinking a day? for formula its 3 x 8 oz bottles but ds only ever manages 4 x 4 oz

With DD1 I continued to take the individual bottles of formula out and am just moving onto that stage with DD2. At the moment I can take cows milk as it's so bloody cold but normally I would take little bottles of the toddler milk.

But then my two are milk monsters.

I think about 300mls from 12 months - which includes breakfast milk, yoghurts and cheese. My two have 4oz in the morning, around 2/3oz on their cereal and 8oz at bedtime

Yes it's 300 ml of full fat cows milk per day from 12 to 24 months and that includes any milk used in cooking, cereal, rice pudding, cauliflower cheese etc. so no need to carry milk, just take water and snacks
