when to reduce milk feeds ?

My ds is 6 months old so we have started weaning. We have built up to two meals a day, although he isnt actually eating that much!

He has 4 milk feeds a day of 8oz and has dropped his night feed. This was fine before we started weaning but I understand that he should be on c600ml a day whilst on solids.

So i am a bit confused what to do with milk until he is actually eating... do i just go with the flow and wait for him to naturally take less milk or do i start trying to cut down his milk gradually?

Thanks x

I'd let him lead the way as he will naturally drop his milk intake as his solids increase.

Agree just be lead by him. It's 20floz/600 ml per day of first stage formula. Once he's on 3 meals a day he might start to cut down on his milk.
