Or am I overfeeding?

Dd is 9 months and has always followed the 50th percentile, she is now following the 75th.
( She was actually 25th at birth but quickly settled on the 50th)
She is now having 3 meals a day, a mix of mashed foods and finger foods. Everything I give her is healthy, low salt and sugat etc. She is still taking around 24 oz of milk a day (formula now).

Does this sound average? Is it normal to go up a percentile. Dd is not crawling yet but spends a lot of time playing/rolling.

Thanks for any advice

she's more mobile and is using up energy so she will be hungrier!
with bigger appetite & comes increasing food/milk intake, so yes she'll go up on the chart, which is perfectly normal, even desirable!

she sounds very healthy to me!

Thankyou for replying, thats what I thought! It was the health visitor that put the overfeeding idea in my head because she said if she goes any further up the chart they would have to look at her diet, grr.

Shes really enjoying her solids and still loves her milk so im happy to just carry on as we are.

oh HV - they are like sex, if good really good, if bad really bad.....

ignore her, DD's doing great!

mine is almost 9 months old, when she had 8 months check she had gone up from 25th centile to 50th in 2 months - which is brilliant for her - (had trouble feeding from start, tongue-tie, slow weight gain), but I wouldn't care if she was on the 99th!

DS2 was actually on 100th for both height and weight when he was 1 - he's now 9 and still chunky despite playing football, eats like a horse, very tall and has size 6 feet (yes, adult) - ah, my gorgeous blondie!

Ah your children sound lovely! Your dd has done really well. Thankyou for putting my mind at rest Smile
Dd is on the 91st for height too, think she is going to be tall too like her dad Grin

you are most welcome!

after DS1 was born (very traumatic birth, worst of all 6 actually) my then HV tried to convince me that I had PND.
bloody git, I told her no thank you, I'm too busy for that....what new mother is not exhausted/tearful/mood etc?

thanks, they are lovely, all quite tall to, they certainly take after DH who is 6' 5" - so looking forward to all of them bending down to give me a kiss!

lovely chatting with you , all the best!x
