this is DD favourite: fish in cheese sauce with sweet potatote mash.

  1. buy a really small piece of white fish from the supermarket (usualy about 80p) stick it in the microwave with a bit of milk for about 2-3mins.
  2. Boil up sweet potatoe with any other veg you've got (brocolli, cauli, carrot, etc) then mash when cooked.
  3. make cheese sauce with about 200ml of milk, butter/marg and plain or cornflower. once boiled add about 1oz grated cheddar.
  4. mix it all up together or put through blender if your LO doesn't do lumps.

I get about 7 dinners out of it and it gets devoured instantly by my daughter.

houmous?
1 tin of chick peas
jar of tahini (say 1/4 of it)
little olive oil
little garlic if you like
little bit of lemon

just chuck it all in a processor. Got loads of protein in it and ds (8 mths) loves it
