lower milk production causing problems at night

since I started weaning my milk production has gone down. This causes a real problem at night especially now that DD is having a growth spurt. she's waking up every few hours feed and then wants to bf for ages up to 2 hours. I'm really stressed that I'm not producing enough to satisfy her.

gone how old is your dd? Is the prolonged feeding simply a growth spurt and not low supply? Have you phoned on of the bfing helplines? If not I'd give them a call now.

I'd also post in the breast and bottle section, you may get a few more responses Smile

oh wow. only just seen this.

I've started pumping again in between feeds which seems to help

dd is still very unsettled at night tho. it gets progressively worse after 3am. seems to have ALOT of wind
