Running out of ideas and dont want him to have the same every day.

He often has either baby weetabix or toast and banana (which he loves)

But i dont know what else to give him. He doesnt like that baby porridge, can he have adult porridge? Or is he too young?

He can have had adult porridge for months or indeed other cereals

Scrambled or fried Egg (or indeed anything else similar!)
yogurt, fruit.
Fish, chicken, anything really.

When DS was that age I indulged in some serious baby cookery (this was before I went back to work and then had DD) and remember him loving a mild kedgeree and all sorts of porridge made with various stewed fruits, plus scrambled eggs with cheese or tomatoes or even broccoli florets.

I did an apple and pear porridge by pre-cooking some grated fruit and then stirring it in, he also liked one vaguely based on Annabel Karmel that had chopped prunes and apple juice in it, substitute part of the milk for some apple juice.

I went back to work when he was 1 and breakfast reverted to toast or weetabix or porridge plus fruit. He also liked rice cakes.

My DD loves her porridge fingers and they are super easy and quick to make! 4 tbsp of porridge oats, a bit of milk (either formula or whole) mix up into a claggy paste and about 30 secs in the microwave! ! Cut into chunks she can hold and et viola!! Smile

I also add blueberries or a bit of cinnamon to change the taste for her.

Scrambled egg on toast is also an absolute favourite and a weekend treat!

My LO has porridge with banana/raisins/stewed apple/fruit puree stirred in. And maybe a slice of buttered toast. And then he'll steal some Rice Krispies out of my bowl.

Mine is scoffing a pile of Cheerios as we speak. She loves them! I'm just preparing her fruit puree to have with them.
