BLW for a not-very-hungry baby - can it work?!

My DD is nearly 7 months now and I thought I would give BLW a go when she reached 6 months. She has never been particularly hungry (almost never cries for milk, only drinks half her bottle then can't be bothered with the rest etc etc) and is quite small for her age. So when I tried BLW she reacted in pretty much the same way as with her milk - she's just not that interested! I understand that the point of BLW is to let babies go at their own pace but what if that pace is practically non-existent! I'm not suggesting that instead I could puree things and force-feed it to her(!) but just wondering if anyone has any experience of non-hungry babies on BLW. Can it still work?

If it is truly baby led see what she wants-offer her purée and see how it goes. It always makes me laugh that people think they can force feed a baby! If they don't want it they won't have it.
