Sickness after feed and/or solids - when does it improve?

DD is six months old and I started weaning her about three weeks ago. At the moment she's on two meals (by meals I mean she's having about 1.5oz of food at each sitting!) a day - breakfast and lunch - and I'm thinking about introducing tea now as well.

However, I had expected that once she was on solids the sickiness (bringing up a couple of tbsp of milk) would improve. I thought being on heavier food would help keep it down. I wouldn't say it's any worse (although it seems it cos now it's a bit more unpleasant with food mixed in too!) but it's certainly no better. Should I keep going and bring in the third meal? Am I feeding her too much? I'm still giving her the same amount of milk as well as the solids. I wouldn't say it's bad...it's not reflux or anything like that, but she will bring a couple of tbsp up after each feed.

Her feeding routine is normally bottle at 7am, soilds at 8am, bottle at 11am, solids at 12pm, bottle at 3pm, bottle at 6.30pm. She usually has a bottle during the night too at around 3-4am-ish.

My LO has reflux, and at 8 months old, still brings up food. Even an hour after he's eaten. I've got no idea when it will stop, but it better be soon!

Not sure if its because you're giving solids on top of milk? (as in the times are too close together? ) i have 3 children, i always gave them a breakfast that included the milk, like baby porridge with their babymilk mixed in, and lunch, a pureed concoction with a touch of their milk mixed in too....gave the rest of their milk after thwyd attempted.some of the food. So basically bottle+brwakfast together Smile
