Hi all
My ds is 7 months and started solids at 6 months. Also has 4 breastfeeds a day.
For about the last 7 days he's been very prone to big upchucks, not immediately after feeding but maybe an hour later. Sometimes though (like just now) brings up whole milk feed at once.
My question really is whether this is normal or whether he may have a tummy bug. He seems right enough in himself. Maybe a little grumpy (teething???). Not particularly hot at all. Very farty.
He started sitting at 6 months and is also very bouncy - if held or in his playnest bounces tiggerlike, which can't really help in keeping food down.
At the moment he eats porridge and puree at breakfast, something more substantial at lunch like fish and potato or chicken and veg mashed and then baby rice and puree at supper (trying to keep it bland then to encourage better sleep).
Can't remember whether dd like this.
Was weighed at clinic and still on 75th centile.
I'm a bit stumped really, as not sure whether he's ill or it's just a stage. Not sure what advice people can give, but am fed up with changes of clothes for him and me and now he's having solids it smells rank.
Thanks for getting this far! :)
