There are quite a few books, not sure which to get. DS is almost 5 months old and am thinking of weaning soon. Any suggestions pls?

The baby and toddler one is good - Baby and Toddler cook book I think. But tbh for the next few months its pureed fruit and veg all the way. Carrot, butternut squash, sweet potato, pear, apple, banana and potatoe and courgette (more of a mash than puree) went down well.

oh and small amounts - initially don't expect more than a teaspoon to get through. Make in bulk and freeze in ice cube trays then just defrost what you need as and when

i bought several books including the annabel karmel one, but to honest the only one i use is the one by lorraine kelly. all ds's meals are cooked using her recipes. they are really quick and easy, i have also made bigger batches for us all to have for our tea, they are yummy.

Jenny Maizels "finger foods for babies & toddlers" is absolutely brilliant. I have the meal planner one by AK and found her so irritating, I've never been able to use it!
