Yes but you may want to serve low salt ones and not offer them every day.

KatyJ26 · 11/12/2012 16:36

Brilliant, thanks .... Arf to serving a diet of just baked beans every day- the stench would be atrocious! Grin
Just happen to be having a jacket with beans and cheese and thought it would be easier to dish all DCs the same food if possible - she had roast Gammon for lunch- I promise!!!!!!!

My friend changed her DDs nursery after she realised they were giving her a sausage roll and baked beans every single day Shock

colditz · 11/12/2012 16:45

Yes. And don't spoon feed, let him squish them in his chubby baby fingers

BikeRunSki · 11/12/2012 16:47

My 1 yo would eat bb for breakfast, lunch and tea if I let her.

KatyJ26 · 11/12/2012 17:21

Thanks for not being too judgemental- mealtime was a success, could do with hosing her down now though!!!

Yes this is fine, DS loves them although I like the full fat, sugar and salt added beans much more Grin

TwelveLeggedWalk · 11/12/2012 18:50

Cheung, if you slosh some Worcs sauce on your plate it almost makes up the difference!

yousankmybattleship · 11/12/2012 18:53

I'm sure they're probably fine as an occasional treat. I would check the ingredients though - sometimes low salt/sugar things are packed full of artificial sweeteners.

JiltedJohnsJulie · 11/12/2012 20:57

I'm all for getting them to eat what we eat and that includes baked beans in our house Xmas Smile

chocoluvva · 11/12/2012 21:03

I used to rinse most of the sauce off when the DCs were little. They didn't mind.
