How much cheese?

Just that really, my dd aged eight months absolutely loves cheese and would happily eat it for every meal. Obviously we don't let her. I've been buying her these mini 18g packets that are just the right size pieces for small hands and mouths. She has a packet a day is this still too much?

Apart from the salt, cheese is a pretty good food.
The recommended max intake at that age is 1g salt (0.4g sodium).
Remember bread some breakfast cereals, and many convenience foods are relatively high is salt, but if on average you are under the guidelines, let them munch!

Thanks for that nextphase. There is 0.1g sodium in a bag of her cheese so about quarter of her intake. Her dinners are home cooked veg and meat so no added salt so she should be ok. She gets 4mth plus baby cereals as the older ones don't agree with her.

Don't forget that her milk will contain sodium too Smile
