Silly question! 6mo, what water to give?

This is from being clueless first-timer, rather than pfb (I think)! Do I need to offer him cool boiled water or is regular tap/filtered water okay?

TIA

regular tap water is fine, and i guess filtered water ie from a brita filter type thing? is also fine?

no need to boil it unless you are making milk with it :)

Tap water should be fine but if you want to be extra careful, boiled and cooled.

Bottled spring water can have a high level of minerals in so isn't recommended for making up bottles but a dribble in a cup for a 6 mo should be fine.

Thank you both.

Tap is better for you than filtered

Really - how come? I generally drink filtered as I much prefer the taste (live in v hard-water area).
